I believe I'm writing a blog. I've never written one before. I have never built a website either but with the help of fellow artist Simon,  we are all fully webbed up. Today is not an art day for the group so I am  sat in front of the woodburner whilst it blows a gale  outside and forces freezing rain into out leaky porch and through the roof of the art barn. the grass that surrounds us, so lovely in the long dry summers, now resembles a filmset from a Hollywood production of All quiet on the Western Front. So much for France and it's alleged sunny climate. Speaking of sun, checkout our recent appearance on UK's Channel 4, 'A place in the sun'.

That's all for now blog readers. see you at the next one.

Two days of rain, local floods, still a great turn out for the art barn this week. Spent both sessions in welly boots. Well done everyone for turning out. Paintings featuring sunny days....cant think why!

Lot's going on. Super busy last week. A bit squeezy in the barn and a new artist Sabine joining us. Thursday was a 'follow me session' of acrylic and oil...following me paint. Today, aswell as Spring, Linda came to pose for us for live drawing and painting. Checkout the photos and vid for painty action.
